Hey,

As some of you can see I airsoft...alot of exmilitary, military, and people who are going into the military are on my team...we have three or four in the marines..and two in the army and a couple who are going to join...and the rest are mostly exmilitary... I love airsoft..as you can see. Most people only know the so called "Backyard-soft" part of airsoft...and for you people out there that think it is..well its not, got it? We play Mil-Sim..not chairsoft (Mil-Sim=Military Simulation...as you could probably tell). One of my best friends who is in Sea Cadets is going into the Marines' Delayed Entrence Program next year..hes 17. And another one of my best friends is gunna go into the Army... Right now im thinking the armed forces would be good for all the same reasons pretty much anyone else goes in..and it would help me pay for college... but I am torn between the Marines and Army. I hate the pattern of the ACU (but the layout of the pouches and velcro is fine) but love the MARPATS effectiveness over the ACUs... Ive heard from a Marine on my team that said you are screwed if you are wearing ACU's at night because they literally glow at night. I also like the marines because i think they are way cooler...one of my grandfathers was a Marine in WW2 on Okanawa. (The other grandfather was a Naval Aviator in the pacific)

Although I like the Marines alot.. I dont think I could make it though the training..is the extra three weeks of training that much harder??if it is then i think i should go in the army...im not trying to sound lazy but i dont think i could physically do it...

Either way...i'd have to get my fat ass into shape ASAP.


PS: I am hoping the airsoft might help me in the future..which i think it will with tactics, radio communication, and other things.
